About the Dogecoin logo
Dogecoin's identity centers on the Shiba Inu "Doge" face from the internet meme the coin was named after. The vector file here is the Doge illustration used on dogecoin.com, drawn in layered golds and olives with a dark outline. That palette is what makes the official art look warmer and more detailed than the flat yellow copies you'll find elsewhere. The file is large (about 150 KB) because it is a detailed illustration, not a simple geometric mark.
History
Dogecoin started in 2013 as a lighthearted take on cryptocurrency, built around the Doge meme. Its brand grew out of community culture rather than a design agency, which is why the dog itself works as the logo. Today the Dogecoin Foundation runs dogecoin.com, the source of this file.

Correct usage
Do
- Use the full-detail SVG for large hero images and print
- Downscale to PNG for small icons, where fine detail becomes noise
- Keep the warm gold palette from the file
Don't
- Don't confuse it with Shiba Inu (SHIB), a separate project that uses a different dog mark
- Don't add text inside the illustration
- Don't imply the Dogecoin Foundation endorses your product
Which file should you use?
Use the SVG for websites, presentations and print. It scales to any size without blur and stays small. Use the PNG where SVG isn't accepted, such as some CMS uploads, email templates and social posts: 256 px for icons and lists, 512 px for cards, 1024 px for large displays and retina screens.
