About the Chainlink logo
The Chainlink symbol is a hexagon outline in a single strong blue, #0847F7 in the official file. The hexagon suggests a link in a chain and the network of connected nodes that Chainlink's oracle network provides. Chainlink's brand page offers the symbol and the full logo (symbol plus wordmark) in blue, black and white, plus a ZIP of all formats.
History
Chainlink connects blockchains to off-chain data and is used across many DeFi apps, which puts the hexagon in a lot of developer documentation and dashboards. Since the mark is a simple geometric shape, the exact proportions and blue in the official file are what make it recognizable.
Chainlink logo color codes
These hex values come straight from the official SVG file, which uses a single brand color.
#0847F7
Chainlink blue
Correct usage
Do
- Use the symbol alone for icons and the full logo for partner pages
- Use the black or white versions when blue clashes with your palette
- Keep the stroke thickness as drawn; don't outline the outline
Don't
- Don't fill the hexagon solid
- Don't rotate it so a flat side faces up
- Don't present a "Powered by Chainlink" badge unless your product actually uses Chainlink services
Which file should you use?
Use the SVG for websites, presentations and print. It scales to any size without blur and stays small. Use the PNG where SVG isn't accepted, such as some CMS uploads, email templates and social posts: 256 px for icons and lists, 512 px for cards, 1024 px for large displays and retina screens.
